Didn't realise QF is send out stats now. I've compiled my own through flightdiary.net...
Well to be honest my employer paid for over 90% of it , I just pushed it over the LTG line with a single status run ( I had to fly that week anyway) and a Jetstar flight.Possibly best you don’t!![]()
I’ve not done the sums dollar wise (probably impossible now) but I could probably work the percentage of SCs from work travel v private.Well to be honest my employer paid for over 90% of it , I just pushed it over the LTG line with a single status run ( I had to fly that week anyway) and a Jetstar flight.
I didn't check my count and had a few flights on EK an IB which may be missing.I think the stats are not quite right - for me they seemed to only count QF flights and did not count a relatively significant number of flights I did on AA/AS
Well a few free years of Platinum is better than nothing. Though I think many year would consider that LTSC tally of yours should be in the ballpark of what is required for LTP even though you are only halfway. It's official - I am half way to LTP!! But given my age, I am pretty certain I will never make it all the way.

Agreed - I reckon about 20 years of the status at full earn is the fair number for the lifetime milestone, as it is for Silver and Gold. LT Silver is 23.3 x 300SCs. LT Gold is 20 x 700SCs… LT Platinum is 53.6 x 1,400SCs (and 20.8 x 3,600SCs)Absolutely.
Inarguably, Lifetime Platinum should be 28,000 SCs.
Instead they have created something above Lifetime P1 and called it Lifetime Platinum.
And those free years are a slap in the face.
I am a little closer.
I'm wondering if there'll be any fanfare a la "Up in the Air"?
YeahA friend I travel with a bit recently got LTG. Pleased about that.
I’m still progressing towards LTG. I will likely continue to fly QF for now more than I otherwise would to press towards this.

It is a LONG time period. Something like 23 years to LTGI have booked a reward flight and have Points Club and will still have it at the time of flying. Every little bit helps, especially when the LTG target is so big.
That’s probably not wildly different to many. For those starting early, LTS might take 15 years but if they’re travelling for work and also earning more and getting to WP, then suddenly LTG comes 5 years later. It is a LONG time period. Something like 23 years to LTG
