So yeah I just tripped over the 14k level myself. Haven't had an email or any indication of change on my QC summary page (but currently P1, so I guess that trumps LTG anyway). Should I expect anything (as in an email, or letter or something to acknoledge it) or just quietly keep calm and carry on flying?

Congrats - safety net for the future - P1 definitely trumps it at the moment.

With a number of FF schemes moving towards revenue based elite qualifying systems (UA, DL etc), QF could also move in that direction and LTG could beome very useful in the future to avoid the minimum spend requirements.

Congrats from me, too - but I think even an underwhelming letter from QF could be raising your hopes too high.

I now have way over LTGx2 but haven't had one letter, let alone two. Not that the lack of a letter bothers me. QF looks after me well. But LTP - now that would be the letter to welcome.

Last year's "Simpler and Fairer [sup]TM[/sup]" changes went a long way towards that. I'd expect little change with that over the next few years.

Congrats, I am at 75% and hoped 3 RTW's (D) would get me there until I realised simpler and fairer would mean 4 loops or lots more domestic

Thanking you muchly. I guess "officially" it's taken me just over 20 years, since I was comp'd QFF membership back in 1994 when CO pulled out of Oz and they ceeded all their local OnePass members to QFF.. however I really didn't fly QF "in anger" until post demise of AN and even then only really domestic until say 2005ish. I only really got to my first year of status probably 2005/06 (the heady year of Silver ), then pulled back a lot of int travel for personal reasons 2006-10 and only prob flew 200-300SC's worth in those years of domestic travel. Since end 2010 though I've gone a bit nuts obviously. So technically 20ish years to make it, in reality probably 10ish.

Congrats, so I made it a few weeks before!

I got it as a christmas present. After one day it showed LTG on the status page. I received a plain letter after two weeks.

For me I am just about rethinking my FFP Strategy. This year I will re qualify for WP.
I matched my LH *G card to AB. They offer a credit card that earns status miles. I can keep Gold with AB just with my CC-Spendings. As it is my home carrier I have some little extra bennies with that (+DJ Lounge access...).

This year I have my gap year with LH, so maybe an other WP Extension with my next flight to and Asia (+ BA Club Europe Travel).

My status page doesn't say anything, just my P1 status, SC's earned and to go and all that, and just the lifetime SC's at 14,060. Not a big deal though. At some point I'm sure the system will do a sweep and figure it out

You certainly don't want the LTG to overwrite the P1.

My award flying has dwarfed revenue tickets with >2.5m QFFP toasted on bookings for this calendar year As long as the ATO "rivers of points" flows - I doubt I'll ever worry about status again!

I thought I'd be the same however after reaching LTG a few years ago I'm still hopelessly addicted to attaining WP/OWE.

If the easy QFFP access to OWE benefits expire - I'm sure I'll get back on the bus.
