Those that know me might be aware of my impending career change, from IT to the Aviation Industry.

In preperation for this, I am moving away from the Gold Coast, south to Melbourne. :D Currently the big move is scheduled for the 15th of Feburary, and will take place over a couple of days.

As a new addition to the AFF Melbourne gang, I'd like to suggest a small Do to get to know some of the other locals. At the moment I'm thinking the evening of 17th Feburary.

Considering my career change, I can think of no better place to hold the function than at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Lounge, the manager has been in touch with me and has no problem with my hosting it there.

I understand this may not be an easy time for most, but if you are around and free, I'd love to see you there!

Ps. Virgin Australia, if you open the OOL lounge, on the 16th Feb, the day after I leave the Gold Coast, you and I might have a problem. :

Have you sorted out your VISA for Victoria? :p We don't let just anyone in you know!!! :p

I might be around on the 17th Feb, I'm in the process of finalising Feb travel.

Victorian Visa Waiver = Day Bag with Jumper, Umbrella, Togs and Snow shoes in it!

Note there is an annual FT "Do" the very next day at BNE on the 18th; this may restrict some from attending.

Or may encourage some non locals to attend and then join one of the flights up to bne. I'm interested, lots of things to nut out first though.

why would you want to leave God's country for melbourne? Of all places. They don't even play proper football there!

Those sorts of comments will not bode well on you wanting to live in this fine city! Football is ingrained as much as anything else!
