Hi all

I am flying back to AU from London Heathrow next week (business). First leg to Dubai is QF10, then transferring to an Emirates plane in Dubai (booked through Qantas) to Perth. What's nice is that I can book the chauffeur service through Emirates even though I don't board an Emirates plane until Dubai.

Question is - as I'll have an Emirates boarding pass (but only for the second leg) - will I be allowed access to the Emirates lounge in Heathrow?

Thanks for any insight.

By the indication on the LHR lounge access page, no.

It may not hurt to try.

YMMV

No, as you're flying QF only F and CL/P1 can access the EK lounge at LHR. As you are in J, give the CX lounge a go

Tacking onto this, apologies, I'm on an EK-metal/QF-code from LHR in July... I assume I'm stuck in just the EK lounge?

No you can't access the EK lounge in LHR with a QF boarding pass/ flight.
Only CL and QF F pax can use the EK lounge at LHR.
As you are in J you will be able to access any/ all of the CX/BA/AA J lounges.

i would do the CX lounge - it is very nice, not bad views and good food and vino.

I reckon the Cx lounge (esp.the F section) at Lhr T3 is better than the Ek lounge ( no separate F section) with the Ba lounge a distant last. Where the about to be opened renovated Qf lounge fits in the scheme remains to be seen.
