LHR-JFK with BA - Emigration Clearance Prior to Boarding?

Wondering if US emigration clearance is carried out at Heathrow prior to departure? Allowing us to arrive as domestic passengers and avoid the JFK queues?

BA have a flight from LCY that stops in Shannon for US pre-clearance. Nothing from LHR afaik.

As far as I know, the only one that does this is the all-J LCY-JFK service which stops at SNN and does the checks there

It also used to have an increased BA tier point earn but I think that has been stopped
