Hi

My first ever DONE5 RTW tip, starts in Warsaw (WAW). 1st segment is WAW-xLHR-LAX on 10th Feb.

WAW-LHR is AA flight on BA metal arriving 9:25am in T3
LHR-LAX is AA flight no & metal dept 11:10am in T5.

With the increased security measures for all USA bound flights, will i make the flight. If not, will they just put me on the next flight?

There is another direct LHR-LAX BA flight approx 40min later. Will they only allow me onto a later AA flight (due to previous WAW-LHR AA codeshare) or will I be allowed on the BA flight. The cheeky me feels like intentionaly taking my time during transit to improve the chance of missing the connection, so I get to fly BA J.

Thanks, TJ

If you misconnect they will put you on another flight. They will almost certainly put you on an AA service to USA with a connection to LAX

Just a quick question:

(1) What was the DONE5 cost ex WAW?

(2) What agent did you use in Warsaw/how did you t icket?

thanks?

Oh well, since its unlikely they will bump me to the next BA flight, i will make an effort to make the connection.

I used the oneworld online booking tool, and booked during the 10% sale in Nov 09. I looked for an AA flight on my 1st flight segement so it was ticketed by AA with lower taxed (thanks for all the advice on this forum fellow AFFers).

Price was 20,263 PLN, but AA converted it to $7,149 USD + $457 tax = TOTAL $7,606 ==> approx $8,500 AUD at the time.

DONE price ex-poland has increased alot (i think around 20%) since then. Lucky me :p
