G'day,

I am thinking of these flights:

ATH - LHR
LHR - MAN (Manchester UK)

I have a 2 hours 25 minutes transit in LHR. Will this be enough time to transfer from LHR international to LHR domestic? I will have checked luggage.

Given that I will have to clear customs, immigration etc.? Doable?

Thanks.

Should be comfortable.

Which airline/s are you using? This will influence which terminals you will be using.

Sorry, that would have been helpful. BA on both flights so will be booking under one PNR. That way I am hoping if there is a delay from ATH for some reason, BA will take responsibility with my flight to MAN.

On one ticket, your bags will be checked thru without touching them. Slightly weird compared to say the US or returning to Oz with a domestic connection.

If it’s T5 to T5 transfer - plenty of time.

oh right! We have the rule of "first port of embarkation" I think. So I clear customs in Manchester then. But immigration still at LHR I believe?

Yes, AFAIK. My one and only Euro-LHR-domestic UK booking was rebooked via LCY but we cleared immigration at LCY and bags arrived on their own at EDI. A token unmanned “Customs” desk was on our right as we exited…
