When I flew Sydney to Tokyo in March this year I earned 40 SC each way on my discount fare. I notice when I fly in May 2026 it drops to 30 SC. Is this a move to make earning status more difficult?

Depends on the actual fare class - Discount Economy for 30 (which is mostly sold as Economy Sale), and Economy for 40 (mostly Economy Saver)1751418950557.png

Likely fare class difference
Initial ticket Economy, this fight Discount Economy.

Tables do change in July but I don't think will impact this
