half marks for the vino, I've been to romania, close enough also I thought.

am I the only one who's actually been to Moldova? Been many times but long long long time ago when it was one of the 15 happy Soviet Republics of the USSR. What a beautiful place! Rolling green hills and fantastic food

.....and fantastic food

and wine apparently, however the drop I used to try was somewhat ordinary (but definitely drinkable). Bought regularly in a POM bottle shop as one of the "cheaper" of an over-priced bunch!

0 out of 9, but my housemate lived in the Marshall Islands for a year when he was about 2 years old, that's almost like visiting, right? (FWIW, the article fails to mention that Nauru's Our Airline flies BNE-INU-MAJ, which is both cheaper and faster than flying UA CNS-KWA.)

I suspect the first one I tick off that list will be Lichtenstein - when I finally manage to make it over to Europe, I intend to visit every one of its microstates...
