Hi all,
I'm flying to Fiji in a couple of weeks time wth Qantas/BA and am slightly confused about the transit situation. From what I have found from looking on the internet you go through us customs and imigration regardless of wether you are transiting or not, and obviously i need a ESTA and the necessary things. What i'm confused about is that on the Air New Zealand website is that it says that if you are transiting for over 8 hours then you need to enter a US street address ito the advanced informaton form that the US require theh airlines to obtain off people travelling. As my transit time is 8.5 hours im not sure if i'm wrong about this or if im not what address should I putting in? Obviously with 8.5 hours I wasnt planning on staying anywhere due to the short amount of time. The up to date ANZ website where I found this starte (under the information required by US Authorities bit):
US Entry & Transit Requirements - International Travel - Before You Fly - Air
Thanks for any help,
Tom
