Flying vaustralia on Easter Monday MEL - SYD - LAX - ATL ... Landing at TBIT.
can anyone tell me what the duty free shops are like in LAX?
Interested in perhaps buying an IPAD 2 or Swiss watch.... Would really like to be to check out pricing before I go....

Amen to that. coughpy little DFS Galleria store, v limited range of stuff -- that said, the prices on booze and fa_s are better than you'll find in Australia.

EDIT: err, misread the question a bit. There's no inbound duty free arriving in to LAX TBIT; the above comment is re. outbound duty free from LAX T3 (I assume you'll be coming back on VA).
