Late Status Run in November?? [USA] Anyone? [Advice]

Hey All,

Just wondering whether anyone is in the grand old US of A this november?? 23-24-25 or 30-1-2 are my dates.
Can be in LAS or LAX or DFW on either on the Fridays.

Will be coming from and returning to YVR, so if you had a better airport that is fine also.

I had a nice little SC run planned for the 23-24-25, but prices changed dramatically lastnight, so am in need of another one.


I dont mind if only get 300-400 ish this trip. Dont want to over do it!!

I presume you are looking at QFF for status (have moved the the Qantas Forum).

YVR can be quite expensive - also the cheaper "instant Upgrade" type fare may have sales restrictions based on purchase minimum days beforehand.

One way to save can be to find your way from YVR to SEA and fly from there.

23-24-25 November is around Thanks giving so I wouldn't expect anything cheap.

Thanks for that Serfty...wasnt 100% sure where to post.

Bundy...I should really pay more attention here...unless its Aussie Day or Anzac Day I am at a loss for holidays. Canada has a public holiday every month!! Making one in Feb next year 'Family Day' because people were complaining that there wasnt a day in Feb off.
I have noticed that for that weekend, getting to places is pretty cheap, however the return isnt, so I'm just going to play with some dates and see how I go.

Trying to leave from SEA as Serfty recommended and ending in LAS if I make it to grab a cheap Westjet back otherwise be SEA for last flight.

Never enough time in a day!! I can get to STT, SJU or HNL but I'm stuck there due to pricing. May organise a day off and try for a monday return. Alternately look for good LAS-LAX-ORD-SEA fares
