I was just preparing my expense claims (I'm in academia, so we often have to arrange and pay our domestic travel up front and get reimbursed) and have noticed that the last 4 flights I've booked on VA (3 directly on Virgin site, 1 on Zuji) have not resulted in an itinerary being sent. They are 2x SYD-CNB-SYD; 1 x SYD-BNE-SYD and 1 x SYD-OOL-SYD. They all show up fine in my Velocity 'Manage bookings' section, so I didn't really think about it (though they aren't there right now of course!), but the usual PDF invoice/itinerary never turned up in my inbox as they normally do.

Is this a Sabre issue and they'll be sent out on the shiny new system post-migration? They were all booked in late Dec.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I booked a domestic return (MEL-BNE-MEL) on Tuesday and everything worked as it should.

Do you have [email protected] in your contacts?

Yep, nothing there though. They are all for travel in the two weeks post-migration period (first on 16th, last on 23rd), hence why I thought it could possibly be a Sabre issue. But if others aren't having problems it seems more like a grubbidok issue.

Hi grubbidok,
I have booked two return journeys yesterday for the next two weeks and i received both my itineraries. might be worth ringing the velocity helpdesk about it.

Do you think they would be able to assist currently? I might give them a call after the 13th.

I think its worth it, you should have been sent a itenerary shortly after booking so they need to resolve this for you.

You are able to re generate the ITR via the Virgin Australia website.
Under manage my booking, you add your flight details and will resend. The only issue is it will go to the email address provided at booking, so if a error was made entering that address, you will have a issue receiving!

This is still working today , but assume will not work over the weekend

Wow, thanks a mil, that's done the trick. I didn't even know that was a feature, good to know. VA are really getting their s*** together. I thought without knowing the res no there was no chance to do it so easily.

glad you got the itenearies
