Lamest QF promotion ever

QF had the same promotion running April/May this year. Flights were I think July-October. In fact Shrek and I bought 2 and are off next month :D I don't think the promotion is lame and as others have said companion airfares ( and also Senior fares) are v.common amongst a range of airlines. YMMV
