LAME sacked by Heston MRO because SQ complained.

A LAME was sacked by Heston MRO only after a complaint by SQ (paragraph 62 onwards).
The unfair dismissal complaint was upheld but the LAME was not reinstated due to the LAME moonlighting for VA against company policy including fatigue management and other issues.
He was nevertheless awarded compensation

SQ complained that the LAME actions resulted in a 17 minute delay

IMO, more concerning than individual drug taking pilots because this sounds like poor corporate culture.

Im not condoning individual pilot behaviour but corporate culture permeates through the whole company.

Yes, there was a clause in his employment contract.
However, there was evidence that this was known to the LAME's direct manager.
The optics, however, seem to indicate that SQ was the trigger and the breach of the employment contract was the excuse for dismissal.

In any case, the SQ intervention is the most interesting for me....

I was going to comment on that earlier but got distracted.

I surmise, maybe incorrectly, that the external contractor that the courts contract to used a voice to text bot and then the court officers did not proof read before signing off the transcript.
