There is no home position. But I'm also aware of "stray dribbles". Once in a sleepy haze I went to loos behind row 13 QF11 and was stopped and advised by FA there were possibly stray dribbles and I should wear shoes. I returned with shoes and lo and behold the dribbles were cleaned up.
How I got Emerald city when I was not even sapphire still don't know.
I think we need to ascertain what the 'home' position of a toilet seat is? If 'home' is the seat down if men put the seat up then they should return it to its rightful position at the end of the performance.
If 'home' is the seat up then users should return it to that position after use.
Personally I don't care if men leave the seat up however I do object to them leaving it down because they're too frigging lazy to put it up then leave p!ss all over the seat for the next person to have to clean up before using it. This happened on a flight TPE/CTS by a male J class pax.
