I'm looking at a KUPP flight around the 20th May SDF-ORD-DFW-DEN, with the first segment being an American Connection economy flight. I have an option of two different flights with a connection time of either 60min/120min or 100min/80min. It looks like I will most likely have 2 checked bags so I was wondering how likely these bags would successfully meet me in DEN?

Even if it doesn't go exactly to plan, it's likely that you would be reunited with your bags within 24 hours.

On my experience of AA if your flights are on time both options have a good chance of seeing your bags arrive with you.

Thanks for the responses, think I'm a little paranoid as I then fly out to BUF at 6.00am the next morning. Guess it's worth the risk.

Actually have another question in regards to this flight. SDF-ORD is with American Connection and therefore is in economy (N). The AA site says that the first class flights are entitled to three complimentary checked bags. I assume that this includes the AX flight due to being on the same ticket? I most likely will only require two bags however I don't feel like being charged an extra $150 in case I need a third.

All on the one ticket with AA- you'll be fine - as its most basic, highest allowance for any segment applies if all on the one carrier.

Thanks, thought that was the case but couldn't find anything on their site or on the forums.
