Wouldn’t be surprise why people are heading over to the business lounge for food

when compared to the spread offered on the other side.

Then again, F lounge do have a sit down dining area and the menu includes everything on offer in the business lounge

Do they serve up the trifle from F dining in the J lounge? That thing is one of my favourite lounge desserts in all the world! Nothing fancy, just very tasty. Got to enjoy it there twice in the last week :)

I was in the new KUL lounge a couple of days ago, but didn't get the chance to see much of it. I was just sitting down and pouring myself a beer when I discovered that I had left my laptop bag on the incoming aircraft (I was transiting from Oman Air ex Muscat to a Malaysia flight to Melbourne).

Perhaps slightly off topic, but what happened in the ensuing 30 minutes I had to reach the departure gate was quite amazing (at least I thought so). First of all I asked the staff in the lounge what to do to retrieve my laptop. I was advised that I should go to the information desk in the terminal and see what whey could do. The information desk pointed me to the MH transfer counter, who said I would have to go to the landside lost and found office.

As I didn't have time for all this business, I just headed to the departure gate, and fully expected that I would never see my laptop and mobile phone again. Well, to my huge surprise, when I arrived at the entrance to the departure lounge, and scanned my boarding pass, I was presented with my laptop bag, completely intact.

Full marks to MH!

I don't know, but having just had two of them in the F lounge I can see why you would ask.

Some thoughts about the F lounge. Can't see any difference after the renovations.

There are too many areas where the floor either drops away or is raised without any warning. I nearly lost my footing a couple of times. The areas concerned are slightly dark and there is no apparent reason for the change in height.

Service is by the book. The sun glaring in the dining room window at sunset is annoying and there doesn't appear to be a blind. Nice view now it is dark.

Think a function of the space design.
Used to be even worse in the J lounge but the refurb has fixed most of it with couches blocking most of the drops and ramps on the rest

Just took a shower and the water is still cold but I didn't mind as I was feeling quite warm having just had a hot tea on my previous domestic flight... There was even a used toothpaste in the shower.
