A few weeks ago we flew SQ from SIN-HND. We hit some congestion departing SIN and then during final approach at HND the captain decided to do a go around due to cloud/fog moving across the airport hampering visibility (at least that's what we were told). These two factors put us into HND about 45 mins late, and pretty close to midnight, the time at which most of the public transport from HND closes for the night.
However, there were ground staff waiting with signs directing passengers to a luggage counter to collect taxi vouchers (up to a certain value) to use that night to transfer to hotel/home etc. I was very pleasantly surprised, and thought I'd share with AFF as it was a nice touch and you don't hear of many things like this in these days of LCC's and cost cutting. I guess these sorts of things are important in the Japanese market.
