You can now redeem vouchers from Krisflyer to be used on Scoot/Tiger flights.

The rate of change is as follows:
3,200 KrisFlyer miles - $30 SGD
5,300 KrisFlyer miles - $50 SGD
10,500 KrisFlyer miles - $100 SGD

I think it is not really worth it, as the award saver redemptions on SQ (especially after 15% discount) are pretty similar to the price of vouchers on the flight on TZ. What does everyone else think? :)

But one of the benefits maybe that we can use vouchers anytime for any available flight rather than waitlisting and trying to find availabilities on the saver tickets?

I think this is more of interest to SQ's home market (Singaporeans) than AFF'ers. :)

At least it's one way of getting some value out of orphaned/soon to expire miles, for those who can't just transfer them Velocity to extend their life (bearing in mind Velocity membership is of course restricted to AU, NZ & SW Pacific residents).

Also of note it doesn't cover TT (Tigerair in Australia):

This voucher entitles the holder to credit (of amounts specified above) that may be applied toward travel on Tigerair marketed (excluding flights with carrier code as IT,5J,TT) and operated flights.

Good point! Especially since flights out of Australia are pretty expensive :(, flights out of Singapore can be pretty cheap when flying scoot but then again I would always prefer SQ over TZ! But it would be a good thing for leftover miles I suppose, even though 3,200 miles is still a lot of $30SGD!

Are Scoot vouchers stackable?

Tigers are, and can be for any pax no limit on vouchers which is good.

I think they are stackable, it doesn't state anywhere that they aren't!! But is it really a good deal?

How many Scoot Vouchers can I redeem per booking? : Scoot Support Team

Delayed response but I've been looking for this answer myself as was about to transfer a bunch of VA points to use on Scoot but I'll call up and double check. Bit stink if you can't stack the scoot ones and it's a bit late to find that out after you've bought the vouchers. Just paid for a 504 scoot biz flight to get that last seat at that price and sure enough now price up to 674 and I'd like to get that price minus a voucher. I probably should have bought the 504 with a voucher but its my first time doing this stuff and thought if someone else bought that price then even with the voucher I'd be a bit out of pocket still. Anyway, will aim to use a voucher for the 2nd seat.

Hmmm agent in Oz said you could use multiple kris flyer vouchers to buy scoot biz which is different from what it reads online from the scoot website. I believe the vouchers are only good for 6 months once purchased? I'm wondering if I transfer enough VA points for 1 voucher or 4.

Anyone used multiple vouchers before?

(I'm aware of poor value etc etc)

under redeeming for scoot etc
5. "You may combine multiple vouchers from the same partner to offset payment of your itinerary with that partner"

SUCCESS!! Stackable vouchers redeemed successfully
:D
