“use of the cardholder’s eligible credit card account” means that
the total value (i.e. including but not limited to money and/or
reward type points and/or staff discounts) of the return overseas
travel ticket (but not taxes, airport or travel agent charges) was
obtained prior to the commencement date of your journey by one
or a combination of the following methods:
n was paid for being charged to a cardholder’s eligible credit
card account; and/or
n the cardholder is a current Westpac Altitude Gold cardholder
and:
– a member of Westpac’s “Altitude” Rewards Program and
has redeemed their Westpac “Altitude” points earned on
the cardholder’s eligible credit card account, in exchange for
your return overseas travel ticket; or
– a member of Westpac’s “Altitude Qantas” Rewards
Program and of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and has
redeemed their Qantas Frequent Flyer points earned on the
cardholder’s eligible credit card account, in exchange for
your return overseas travel ticket; and/or
n the cardholder is a current Westpac Altitude Gold cardholder
and:

– a member of the Westpac “Altitude” Rewards Program
and has converted their “Altitude” points, earned on the
cardholder’s eligible credit card account to points in a
frequent flyer program of an airline that is participating in
“Altitude” and the cardholder has redeemed those frequent
flyer points to obtain your return overseas travel ticket;
– a member of Westpac’s “Altitude Qantas” Rewards Program
and has redeemed the Qantas Frequent Flyer points earned
on the cardholder’s eligible credit card account to obtain
your return overseas travel ticket
