Can anyone confirm if fast track / priority through security etc is available at SYD? Will be flying SQ. If so, can my wife and kids also use this with me?

My understanding is that express pass is only for first and business class in Australia these days? Not status pax.

MEL_Traveller is correct. Still only for first and business passengers and BPs checked at entrance on my 2 visits this year.

I was issued an express pass recently flying QF in Economy (but connecting from BNE) and flashed it in SYD

This may be changing.

Flew from Melbourne on SQ as a VA Platinum last week.

Express Path was printed on the boarding pass (and accepted at security).

Unfortunately, SYD has been operating F/J only outbound priority line since Covid. But as above and elsewhere here, there are anecdotal reports of “Express Path” cards or printed on BPs getting through but probably the person monitoring the lines has just waved them through.

Currently, there’s not a lot of difference at passport control (unless it’s a particularly busy day/time). Plus the security screening stations and lines have improved a lot since the 2021 chaos.

Hopefully, “Express Path” as we knew it returns soon to SYD.
