am posting this, wondering if I am naive and expecting too much.
August booked an economy trip MEL-SIN-FRA-MUN-LHR for Dec 13th and return LHR-SIN-MEL in Jan. Rang Kris Flyer customer service ( it appears you cant do this over the website) spoke to some chick in Kuala Lumpur who was difficult to understand Requested a Raffles class upgrade and transfer of points. Told to re confirm Nov 13th. ( Checked status on Website shows waitlisted for upgrade.) So-Ring Nov 13th told to ring back Nov 22nd, Then told to ring back Nov 25th, again told to ring back Nov 29th, so I ring , at 10:00 am AU time and told to ring back later as deadline is (6pm SIN time). So i try to ring at 5pm (SIN time) and cant get trough as line closes at 5pm. So resorted to rerouting request via SIN reservations to get through via another number .Then told deadline is now extended till Dec 2nd , so ring back then.What is it with these people.? why cant they accept the fact that if an upgrade request is made and if seating is available by the deadline, why not confirm or deny then and advise customer ,without this run around. That was just the MEL-SIN-FRA-leg I have to go though all this again for the LHR-SIN-MEL leg
I hope Getting rewards tickets are easier than upgrades,.Is this unique to Kris flyer? Should I change loyalty programs?
