KrisFlyer devaluation beginning Nov 1st 2025

My prediction in the future, J/F Saver awards will be reserved for PPS members .... Everyone else would still have Y/Y+ Saver and J/F Advantage access.
From memory, when R first came out, R awards weren't able to be booked at all? Then they changed it.

5% or so for J, not that bad
Not quite true.
It's 5% for J Savers to and from SIN ie redemptions to and from Zone 1 only to Zones 2 - 9.
If traveling beyond SIN and a connection is required, the change is in the 10% region.
So SQ's announcement that J Savers from Zones 1-9 have a 5% increase is actually not true.
(eg J Saver KUL-SYD was 68,500, changes to 75,500 10.2% increase)

Really ?

Zone 10 Africa, Middle East & Turkey is 20%

Everything else is 5%

I think it is mostly 5% if you're origin is Zone 1. But those of us in Australia (Zone 8 or Zone 9) are seeing some higher percentages when travelling to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, or even Hong Kong.

People forget that SQ used to have Full Award categories for years, got eliminated a few years aho and now its back as a new thing called “Access”. Full award was any seat available at a fixed (very high) price in miles. Same same….. this increase is nothing compared to what other airlines are doing.
SQ does not lie like QF if they say additional seats to saver and advantage it means additional seats.
