I booked my son on Korean after being informed by Travel Agent how well organised the hotel stopover was etc however when I called Korean before he left was informed no accommadation due to it being a peak time. :(
Travel agent then organised a hotel for him but now am unsure what will happen etc - are his bags checked in all the way to Melbourne from Toronto or just to Seoul?
- does he have to collect his bags regardless in Seoul?
- does he need to be back at checkin 3 hours before flight?
- any other tips?

Sorry so much to ask however may not have booked this option for him knowing it really was not as organised as first told. Perhaps I am just a worried mum and he will work it out himself :)
Thanks

Not sure of the answers to many of your questions however what I would suggest is to get the bags checked through all the way to Melbourne and try and get the boarding passes as well, that takes out the need to checkin, mind you there is 14 hours between flights, not worrying about bags will maximise the rest time even if it is during the day.
