Hi Team

Going to KL for a meeting this Friday. Will be arriving at 07.35 and heading into KL for a meeting before returning for a 14.20 flight out.

Question
Are there showers at the Thai airways lounge (and will it be open when i arrive - 07.35)? I know the SQ lounge will be open but it does not have showers and I would like to frshen up before my meeting (tight connection in Singapore means I probably wont have time for a shower then).

Traveling in SQ on J ticket before you ask (also Star A Gold).

Cheers

I think only lounge with showers is the MH Golden Lounge. Its the biggest lounge at the airport (as you can imagine) and located directly above the train in the satellite terminal. As all SQ flights from KUL are 30 mins shuttles to SIN, I can see why they don't need showers.

As far as I know, all the lounges other than MH do not have toilet or shower facilities insider their lounges. They are all located on the upper mezzanine level in the satellite terminal (C gates) and there are toilets located on that level between the various lounges.

There is an airport hotel in the C satellite terminal so you may be able to get a shower there by paying for a day room. Otherwise you should have sufficient time at SIN during your connection.

AFAIK some lounges, like SQ do have their own toilets, but others like CX do not. The shower facilities in the MH lounge are good, but the catch is to be flying MH.

I guess you coould always purchase a MH F fare KUL-SIN which is very cheap. Then you get access to the very nice MH F lounge which has a good selection of buffet-style hot foot and icecream!

Hello All

Just a final post so that if anyone does a search they have the answers.

Both Thai and SQ lounges have bathrooms that you can use to get changed (but no showers)

The Business Premiere lounge has showers and changing areas.
