Just curious, ever had a baggage policy error?

Just booked online and got this.

Please review the following items

  • Unexpected error occured while getting the baggage policy (15246 [3])

Just wondering what that's all about..............

The ticket says 1 bag only, this is long haul in J.

I assume I can just forget about this as no check in agent will restrict us to 1 bag each on such a flight. :-S

A wild guess could be something in the background (database, webpage etc) was being updated at the same time of your request.

It could be wise to follow up on the booking just in case and get Qantas to send out an updated itinerary.
 
When ticketing occurs, a messages is sent to APTCO, who provide an automated service to calculate the checked baggage allowance for each segment on the booking. The results are then sent back with a reply message.

The error encountered would suggest this process failed somewhere.
