Hi guys,

I tragically unexpectedly had to use up some points to fly my mum to CGK return in J which left me short of a few points for a week or so and of course in that week it so happened that someone snapped up the QR F SYD-DOH seats that I had my eyes on for oh so long.

So sadly I have had to use my hard earnt points for JQ Y for MEL-BKK then QR F for BKK-DOH and onward to MCT which is the first stop on this trip.

So I've selected my seats on the QR sectors, still excited for QR F even though its a 6h50m journey instead of a much longer 14h but oh well first world problem I suppose.

For JQ, I logged onto the JQ website MMB to select seats etc and I can also select entertainment etc but there is no option for food. Is this because as part of a QF booking food is included ? Does anyone have experience with this ? Its booked in at 9h20m and I suppose I could eat in the lounge before hand but I'd rather not arrive in BKK hungry.

Thanks

If JQ is the same as 3K then you should get food included in award tickets.

I would start a live chat on the website to confirm and to see if they can record your meal preference so you're in the first group served and they don't run out.
