Flying MEL - NRT on JQ in business early November and was wondering what pair of seats do the AFF community prefer? Seat Guru is only suggesting 2D but I'd like to hear what your thoughts are on row 1 and 6?

Try 1E and 1F, it is a bulkhead and the leg room is actually quite good. I sat in 1E recently and it was good with only two seats in the middle row, I.e. no one stepping over you to get to the aisle.

Nor does anybody recline into you and you're first off. :)

Almost certainly row 1. After take-off you can place a roller-bag on the floor in front of you for the perfect leg-rest. This will put your feet full flat and horizontal to the floor, making for a more comfortable sleep.

Agree with 1E and F. Was much better than window and aisle in row 2 which felt quite cramped when row 1 reclined.

Just to update everyone - slept the whole way MEL to NRT, 1EF are definitely the best seats in the house. Thanks for the heads up everyone.
