Jetstar to fly to Singapore, Bangkok & coughet from Perth in 2024

I think QF A321s are likely on PER-SIN/India. In terms of Bali, perhaps from Sydney only and they might be able to scale up frequency if they pull the 330 off it.

PER-DPS is a bloodbath though, I think even Virgin attempting to enter the route previously was questionable. TransNusa have come outer nowhere and now have added up to 3 flights per day.

Think we are still some two years away from the first international configured QF 321XLR. A lot more to come in domestic config first.

PER-MNL seem to be performing a bit softer.

I recall HKT was popular on Virgin way back in the day also, was a 737 from Perth I think.

I wonder if a route like Kota Kinabalu, Da Nang, Lombok would work? Perhaps the 320Neo.

To be honest, I don't mind Qantas to deploy Domestic config A321XLR to run 2x Daily PER-SIN to replace daily A332.
Frequency matters. The more frequency means more likely to have reward seats and also easier to connect with other airlines, such as Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong, Japan Airlines to Japan, Qatar Airways to Doha etc.
I would like to see a mid-morning departure and late afternoon departure from Perth, and evening also late night departure from Singapore, which will allow us to connect with east coast flights.

Pre-Covid they were running a second flight (not sure if it was daily?) on a 737.

I agree. Dump the Jetstar PER-SIN which is now just a token frequency and run double daily XLR Lie Flats.

The low cost traffic on SIN routes will simply stick with Scoot. Jetstar need to concede defeat in Singapore and put its resources elsewhere. DPS-SIN is the only route they should hold.
