Well, I have to say Jet* was perfectly acceptable

The boarding - very orderly and not a scrum. Boarding from the rear rows first. Not a full flight maybe 90%? We purchased the tickets that gave status credits so up front seating. And yes we had a seat in the middle.

I've been in the process of finding a place in Bali for next year, and just realised that I had to fly Jetstar from Melbourne if I wanted a direct trip.
Very glad to see you thought Jetstar was okay.
I have some trepidation as I've never flown Jetstar.
Regards,
Renato

The next time I say to MrP I am heading into Seminyak shopping area I have asked him to remind me. DONT GO. MrP of course stayed at the resort.
.........................

So now its off to Stockholm next year
Interesting thanks - I was wondering what Seminyak is like.

Coincidentally, I'm in the process of booking flights to Stockholm and Copenhagen next year too.
Regards,
Renato

Jet* is back flying. As we leave early Sunday morning if our Aussie airlines wont fly we might hot foot over to Singapore. I think the issue is they dont want to use fuel to fly around. Multiple flights were landing last night. Its ridiculous.

Renato - the beach resorts around Seminyak are wonderful. And many love the back street shopping but I've done it enough times now. As a first timer you will be fine.

We have two leaks despite putting up a new roof a few years ago. Damn tudors and chimneys.

I think the bracelet might actually be an anklet. That is what I will call it.

Last night we enjoyed a fleeting sunset at the club sunset bar. But you had to be quick or it was gone.

We were booked into the teppanaki performance but that wasnt until 8.30 pm. So drinks in the club until then. At 8pm it was either go early or be asleep. I joked that the early session probably wasn't full anyway as it wasn't cheap (it was, at $55 inc alcohol (wine and sake).

You are taken through beautifully manicured gardens and halls. I think this one is a bit dark to see it?

We were given a nice bib (oops, were we meant to give it back?) and seated amongst a group of diners from the first sitting. Very raucous and all very friendly.

You tick as many of the following as you want

Nice place setting

First up - a wonderful stir fry salad

And I do use chopsticks

The proteins. :D. I chose Barramundi, chicken, sirloin and mahi mahi.

The chef is amazing the way he multitasks. 12 diners each with their own plates to cook. At different times.

Just some random shots

We were allowed to order more as we wanted so we had more prawns and steak. All the time being plied with sake and wine. We declined the icecream dessert.

As I said before, just $55 for a very enjoyable meal where you didn't feel you'd overeaten.

We purchased the Hotel on a package which gives us a 20% discount on food. The price on the menu does not include service and tax. Which collectively comes to 21%.

I presume all flights are back as usual as I haven't seen anything on our new sites to the contrary so I think you will be heading home soon.
Has Grumpy Cat (GC) developed a taste for international travel now?

Well GC was not to be found yesterday. Seems like the room attendant has become quite fond of him and hides him as a joke. Just in case he is now back in the bag.

Last night we went to the beach bbq's. A great night for sunsets.

The sun really was blurry like this due to the clouds.

There are many vendors and we sat down at one randomly and ordered drinks. Then you got out the back and select the food. This first one didnt have crabs so we paid for the drinks and moved over a table to next door.

Then the feast
ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1475194187.532826.jpg

It comes with rice and various spice pastes and also some green stuff that we have never eaten.

The green stuff.

All very delish.

Then dessert. That MrP never eats. You cant escape it whether you want it or not. And notice the green stuff has not been touched.

MrP likes taking fancy pictures.

It was still only 7.15pm and we realised we still had 15 minutes before club drinks finished. So we made our way back to the Sunset bar. As we are regulars there they asked as they served us if we would like 2 rounds at once as they had to stop serving the freebies at 7.30. Well, who were we to say no!
