Morning all,

I booked a couple of int. jetstar flights a few days ago out of DRW, but just realised I used the shortened version of my name and left off the last four letters. Will this matter when I go to travel? I didn't select the option for the plus bundle, if that helps and can't change anything online.

When booking International Flights, you should always match your passport name.

Unsure if you mean
Name is:
Jonathon Smithfield

and you booked
Jon Smithfield - which might have some chance of being accepted, but if you booked
Jon Smith - I think you will have some issues.

I would say you are best calling, explaining it and trying to get it changed.

Cheers Moa, sitting on hold now. Your first example is correct - it's the first name which is shortened.

Edit: Managed to reach someone in customer service, very pleasant and efficent. Problem solved at no extra cost.

Use a Travel agent if not experienced Flight Centre price match
