I can't get a J award seat home from SIN in about 6 weeks and, rather than suffer the indignities of Y, I figured I'd fly 3K to Jakarta and then take QF home from there (J seats available).

I'll be arriving into CGK at about 3pm and departing on QF at 8. I'm guessing there's no way to make an airside connection? (I'll have bags). Otherwise, does CGK offer a transit visa option or will I be up for the whole US$25?

$25, will that break the bank? You can save the $$ by flying Y:p.

Sorry about the sarcasm but its Sunday afternoon.

Haha no it won't... But last time I lined up for a visa at CGK it took 90 minutes so I'd rather avoid it!
