Jetstar points posting ... shesh!

This is way off topic, but l thought that l'd post it here as Red Roo has had a presence on this particular thread.
Just a small annoying glitch on the QF Website when searching for Award or ASA availability.

If you put into the field; From (city), To (city), Depart & Return Dates and whatever info then realize that you click on the wrong type of Award Type, it resets the cities to zero and you have to start again. Now, l know it's a small thing, but it starts to become annoying after you've done it a few times while searching for flights.

Picks below

Start by putting in info into search field

Realize you haven't selected ASA (or vice versa)

Click on ASA and cities reset to blank

Red-Roo, can you please look into this. I know it's a small issue, but l would appreciate it if something could be done about it.

Cheers.

I believe Qantas.com needs to reset everything as the available origin/destination city combinations for Classic awards are different for those of Any Seat.

e.g. SIN-PRG can be selected for Classic awards but not for Any Seat.

Thank you for the answer Serfty. I did not know that.

I was on the JQ8 last night. The points took <24 hours to come through (along with my status upgrade to PS). :)

Same happened for me a couple of weeks ago - system seems to be in fine shape if this is consistent.

pretty impressed by the speed of processing

Yesterday/Last Night JQ points processed within 14hrs, last bunch of QF flights (2 weeks ago) took 2 days

I find this annoying too. +1 a fix would be good.

Put in Claims for JetStar flights and JAL Flights on Feb 26. Both JAL posted within 2 days. Jetstar still nothing! come on!

I wait four working days for 'auto' posting and failing that then put in an online points claim.

This process for a January 3rd StarClass flight resulted in the credit finally arriving January 24th.

Cant Say the Qantas Frequent Flyer call Centre has been very helpful either!

Same here!!! I'm still waiting - had my FF number on booking, given at check-in, online points claim submitted and then last time I called was told to email the boarding passes...

Done all of the above and still waiting on points from 17th Feb!!

This is ridiculous

Once again, it's the whole "Yep, Jetstar is part of the QF group" (when it benefits QF), but the "Nope, what are you talking about" (when it doesn't benefit QF).

Qantas - work it out please!

Just had a phone call from qantas apologizing about points from jetstar not posting after 22 days. They informed me there's a glitch in the system and it can take up to 30-35 days at the moment!

My 2nd star class flight posted in one day again, so it's been working quite well for me. *touch wood*
