So I rang them today and the consultant asked for an application ID, I said I'd had no communication at all.
He was good, got me my application ID, said it was in process and asked me to email a payslip, which I've just done.

Hopefully we're on track. I need to know soon as I've got a CC to possibly cancel within 2 weeks!
 
The following is displaying if you try and apply today:

My +1 advised me that mine arrived as well. Seems their 10 days can be a bit optimistic. They must have had a few applicants.
 
I've been checking and it has been available the whole time if you use the link in the first post, but its not in the qantas points app anymore.
I signed up for it tonight so we shall see how long it takes, it was a smooth process and I uploaded payslips during the sign up process,
I was also given my application ID during the sign up process and again later in an email.

The message I previously posted was via the original link. So it is not correct to state that it has been working the whole time.

No application ID was provided during the first period of the promo, so the procedure/link may have been updated.

I was going to ask about that. I was surprised there was no option for that on the application. So do we just activate and then log in and add our QFF number?

(seems the activation is only by phone, which is a bit of a PITA)

The original URL link has now been changed so you can select the Qantas option from the beginning of the process.

You give them your Qantas FF number and select the Qantas rewards option when you call them to activate your card.

Remember to check when online that this has been done correctly.
 
now to spend the $3000 in 60days.

Does anyone know if rent payments via Deft would qualify ? I can't see why not ?

In hindsight, as it was 4 digits and not between 6 and 8 digits, I think that access code was actually the PIN. Phone call later I'm logged in, change the PIN, apparently successfully. PIN wrong this morning paying for the hotel!

I've had one issue (perhaps the same as you two).

I tried to log in using the code they sent, but it required a PIN as well. Now I can't recall being asked to nominate a PIN in the application, so I clicked on the "forgotten PIN" button. It then asked for the access code and my mobile number. Entered both and an error popped up saying those details didn't match! :shock: They sent me the code and I gave them the mobile number in the application.....how can they NOT match? Anyway, I put it down to the fact I haven't yet activated it and I'm thinking that's still the issue. I really tried to go on-line to see if I could activate it that way as I'm not currently able to telephone.
 
Got mine, had to call to sort website access. Was also informed that the 60 day spend period started from date of approval which was 4 days before I got the card.

Hey? That's a bit rude. I thought it would be from card activation. I won't be back from OS for a while, so if they limit the time like that for the QF points, I just won't worry about even trying. Can you buy things like the EB voucher with the card and be qualifying for the points?
 
I also had the same problems - both card and internet access code arrived at the same time (nice...)
Couldn't login online. Phoned to activate, took 10(!) minutes then done. Had to call again and get the online code reset.
Also reset my pin while I was there. Did a paywave successfully today, so that's working at least!
