Hi traveling to Canada and US next year and have a Jetstar Platinum MasterCard which includes travel insurance. They are changing provider to ACE insurance Ltd from Oct 1 but has anyone relied solely on their credit card travel insurance for cover. I have compared the benefits with Cover.More insurance and they seem comparable.
Cheers Hol

Exactly, if the PDS covers your risks go for it. As with all insurance, watch the exclusions.
We use ANZ Amex Platinum TI as it only requires $250 of expenditure to active. But hire car excess is only minimal at $2k.
JQ requires you to purchase return fares on the card to activate.
Have found Citi Platinum TI to be very helpful in the past.
