Hi does anyone know if luggage will be checked all the way through on a single booking/ticket :

Helsinki to Singapore (Finnair) - Singapore to Melbourne (Jetstar).

Finnair call centre says no yet Jetstar website says yes.

The luggage should be transferred.

  • Connecting international Jetstar flights and flights with our partner airlines (see list below[Finnair Listed]), where both international flights were purchased on the same booking

General thing I've observed is that call centres tend to have no clue of what happens at airports.

In addition to what is set out on the JQ website ( as mentioned above by Serfty), Jetstar is definitely listed in reservations systems as an interline and through check partner of Finnair (as reflected on ExpertFlyer website), so if all on one booking should not be a problem.
