Due to JQ13 being cancelled from SYD to KIX on Thursday 1 January 2026 as noted above, JQ16, the 2145 hours mid evening KIX down to CNS also go the boot.

On Friday 2, JQ15, the scheduled 1235 hours CNS back up to KIX B788 is estimated to depart 150 minutes late at 1505 mid afternoon.

What was yesterday a presumably defective B788, VH-VKE is showing as supposedly operating an empty SYD-CNS flight JQ8992 due out of SYD on the dot of 0600 hours this morning, but by 0825 hours it had not taken off.

JQ30 overnight from BKK to MEL has B788 VH-VKA with arrival at gate forecast for 1154 hours on 2 January, 94 minutes late. Yesterday it only arrived BKK 16 minutes late at 1916 hours as JQ65 from BNE, so not sure why it was delayed in Bangkok.

-VKF is on JQ66 from BKK to BNE that's also badly delayed with arrival on 2 January forecast for 1259 hours, 239 minutes after its timetabled 0900 hours.

The HKT to MEL overnight JQ18 with -VKL should arrive at 1045 hours, 40 late.

JQ47, the 0720 hours morning 2 January BNE-DPS (A321 VH_OYC) took off at 0825 so arrival is estimated at 1212 hours, 47 minutes behind schedule.

UPDATE: It took off from SYD at 1338 on 2 January with CNS arrival forecast for 1529 hours. JQ15 from CNS to KIX is optimistically estimated to push back at 1635 hours, 240 minutes late.

B789 VH_VKE on the Friday 2 January 2026 CNS-KIX JQ15 took off at 1717 hours, so arrival should be at about 2318 hours, 253 minutes late.

Tonight's 2145 hours JQ24 from KIX down to BNE has been delayed in departure until a projected 0900 hours on Saturday 3.

B788 VH_VKF is operating JQ65, the 2 January 1330 hours BNE-BKK airborne at 1503. Arrival at gate looks like 2048 hours mid evening, 78 minutes late.

-VKL is on JQ17 from MEL to HKT that should be 32 late at its destination 'on blocks' at 2037 hours.

The lunchtime 2 January JQ101 1230 hours BNE-CEB is likely to arrive at 1804 hours, 49 minutes late.

VH-OFU, another A321, is operating JQ35 from MEL to DPS whose arrival at gate should be roughly 2133, 38 late.

On Sunday 4 January 2026, B788 VH-VKD as JQ28 from HKT overnight to SYD arrived at 1127 hours, 47 minutes late.

Saturday 3 January's JQ53 from BNE to ICN, the 1120 hours did not take off until 2200 hours so gate arrival in Seoul was on Sunday 4 at 0619 hours, 624 minutes late. The aircraft, B788 VH-VKE is presently operating the scheduled 2130 hours ICN down to BNE JQ54 that took off at 0807 on Sunday 4: BNE arrival very late this afternoon becomes 1756 hours, 591 minutes behind the timetable.

Sister -VKK is rostered for the 1420 hours MEL-BKK (JQ29) claimed to shortly be departing at 1524 hours.

A321 VH-OYC is on today's JQ101, the lunchtime 1230 houurs ex BNE to new destination CEB. It was airborne at 1313 with arrival estimated as 1747, 32 late.

Today’s (Mon 5 Jan) JQ7 from SIN-MEL has been rescheduled to 15;00 some 110mins late. With a two day run of on time arrivals, this was inevitable as a hattrick is rare on this flight.

The Sunday 4 January BNE to BKK JQ65 (B788 VH-VKE) arrived on Monday 5 at 0210 hours, 430 minutes late. The plane is returning to BNE as JQ66, the scheduled 2055 hours on Sunday night that took off at 0356 this morning, with BNE arrival suggested as 1527 hours, 387 minutes late, so at least it should have picked up a bit of time. Hard to see this aircraft being punctual again until it has a scheduled day (or half day) off for regular maintenance.

JQ18 from HKT down to MEL has -VKJ with arrival on 5 January forecast for 1359 hours, 234 minutes late. I've not looked up the gate numbers but its unpunctuality is probably the reason for @dajop 's favourite flight 'the 7' being delayed as noted above.

The BKK-MEL JQ30 has -VKK with gate arrival likely at 1050 hours this morning, half an hour behind schedule.
