Jetstar Delays/Cancellations

On Wednesday 5 June, JQ522, the early evening 1815 hours MEL - SYD (A321 VH-VWT) airborne at 1901 should arrive half an hour late at 2010.

Southbound JQ523 is the 1815 hours ex SYD not airborne until 1936 tonight. Arrival is estimated at 2053 hours down in MEL, 63 late for VH-VQK (A320).

JQ608, the 1750 hours AVV - SYD (A320 VH-VQP) took off at 1821, about 15 - 20 late, but arrival is delayed until a suggested 1952 hours, 37 late. The aircraft had to hold above Goulburn.

Later on 5 June 2019, JQ525 (1905 hours SYD - MEL in teh sky at 2022 with A320 VH-VFK) should arrive at 2139, 59 minutes late.
 
JQ677 from DRW to MEL (the redeye) with A321 VH-VWY is arriving on Thursday 6 June at a predicted 0756 hours, 76 minutes late.

JQ433 from OOL to MEL is expected to arrive 40 late at 1035.
 
Later on Thursday 6 June 2019, B788 VH-VKI is on JQ68 from CGO to MEL, the 0045 hours not in the sky until 0220 and hence not arriving until 1414 hours, 69 late.
 
JQ437 (Friday 7 June 2019, the 1245 hours lunchtime OOL down to MEL having A321 VH-VWW) was not in teh sky until 1350 so arrival is suggested as 1555 hours, 45 behind.
 
JQ609 (1825 hours early evening SYD - AVV) was not airborne until 2002 hours so arrival is estimated as 81 late at 2121 hours tonight, Friday 7 June.

JQ37, the 1640 hours SYD - DPS (B788 VH-VKB) did not take off until 2131 hours so will be more than four hours late into the Baliese holiday heaven.

And it's been playing catch up all day... Then it became JQ119 SYD-NAN, the 8 55 hours service which departed at 10 47 and arrived at 16 34, 99 min tardy. The return leg JQ210 NAN-SYD has a revised arrival at 20 33, 108 min behind schedule.

Silvia, great info. Some rosters for a day have (say) a lunchtime break (particularly domestically) but if an aircraft is being worked hard, and there's no significant breaks scheduled, the 'lottery' of what you outline can occur. Eventually there'll be a break of hours for maintenance scheduled, or just a time when passenger demand is reduced and hence fewer planes need to be in the air.
 
JQ767 (1300 hours ADL - SYD on Tuesday 11 June, A320 VH-VFO) was in the sky at 352. Arrival should be at 1601 hours, 41 late.

JQ423 (Friday 14 June, the scheduled 1730 hours OOL - SYD airborne at 1829 with A320 VH-VFH) looks to be arriving at its gate at 1943, 43 late.
 
A320 VH-VQM on JQ954 (1055 hours late morning SYD - CNS, Sunday 16 June 2019) did not take off until 1354. Arrival should be at 1647 hours, 162 minutes late.

Tardiness is due to this aircraft's first duty for Sunday, JQ953 (scheduled at 0730 from CNS down to SYD) not being airborne until 1023.

Further adding to what AFFer Silvia posted on the QF and VA threads, due to heavy rain in the Brisbane area - 17mm in the city in the hour to 1630 on Sunday 16 June - JQ564 (A320 VH-JQG, the afternoon 1330 hours airborne at 1503) looks to be diverting to OOL with likely arrival at 1717 hours. This aircraft should according to the timetable have arrived in BNE at 1545 mid afternoon.
 
Due to the very adverse - rainy - weather in BNE on Sunday 16 June 2019, JQ754 (2010 hours evening LST - BNE airborne at 2134) should arrive at 2349 hours, 64 late with A320 VH-VGI.
 
A320 VH-VGH on JQ631, the Monday 17 June 1245 hours OOL down to AVV was in the sky at 1431. Arrival should be at 1631 hours, 91 minutes behind the timetable. This is because JQ605 from SYD down to AVV this morning, the 0755 hours did not take off until 0959 hours.
 
Passengers on JQ433, the Wednesday 19 June morning 0730 hours OOL - MEL (A320 VH-VQJ) are having a memorable trip in an unpleasant way, as takeoff was at 1336 with the projected 1543 hours afternoon arrival to be 348 minutes late.
 
Thursday 20 June 2019's JQ768, the timetabled 1555 hours mid afternoon SYD - ADL (A320 VH-VFP) was airborne at 1717 hours so arrival looks to be 63 minutes tardy at 1838 hours.

The AVV up to SYD JQ608 has VH-VQL and should be on the ramp at 1759, 49 late.
 
JQ62 (2235 hours redeye from SGN down to SYD on Thursday 20 June with B788 VH-VKK) took off at 0142 hours on Friday 21, so tardy arrival is predicted for 1232 hours, 137 minutes behind schedule.

A320 VH-XSJ on JQ219, the 0615 hours MEL - ZQN was not in the sky until 0812 so arrival is predicted for 1304 hours, 94 late.

JQ831 (lunchtime 1155 hours PPP - MEL, Sunday 23 June) took off at 1450. A320 VH-VQP should arrive at 1736 hours, 161 late.
