JQ457, the 0910 hours from BNK down to SYD that took off at 1048 (A320 VH-VQP) is arriving at about 1157, 82 late.

The 0825 hours MEL - SYD, JQ504, is shockingly delayed until an expected 1300 hours in its departure. Winds in SYD have been strong in the early morning but since then variable.

On Sunday 17 September, JQ562 (1040 hours from MEL up to BNE that did not become airborne until 1254) should arrive at about 1448 this afternoon, 118 minutes tardy. VH-VFH is the A320 that had previously been almost on time on JQ981, the 0700 hours scheduled arrival in MEL ex the redeye from PER, so it is unclear what caused the delay to JQ562.

In further on 17 September 2017, JQ17 (scheduled 1450 hours mid afternoon from MEL up to HKT, B788 VH-VKD) was not airborne until 1538. Estimated arrival is 46 late at 2131 hours mid evening local time.

Windy conditions in MEL on Monday 18 September have so far not led to many notable delays but it being peak period, quite a lot of aircraft are in holding patterns as at 0800 hours. JQ503, the 0700 hours SYD - MEL (A321 Vh-VWU) did not help by not taking off until 0749, about 30 - 35 late, so while arrival is estimated at 0907, 32 late, this may be an underestimate of the delay as the aircraft has yet to commence a hold further south.

The CHC - SYD JQ140 (A320 VH-VFV) should arrive at 0850 hours, 40 minutes tardy.

The HBA - MEL JQ700 (A321 VH-VWW) has a scheduled departure of 0800: it took off at 0835, but arrived at 0957, 42 late.

JQ730 (the 0835 hours LST up to MEL that was airborne at 0901 with A320 VH-VFH) is arriving at 1011, 31 minutes late.

VH-JQL (A320) on JQ475 from NTL down to MEL should arrive at about 1037 this morning, 32 late.

Later on a windy 18 September in Melbourne, JQ508 (A320 VH-VFH, the 1020 hours MEL - SYD that was in the sky at 1112) should arrive at 1236, 51 minutes tardy.

JQ946 (also a 1020 hours scheduled ex MEL, but to CNS) took off at a similar 1110 hours. Arrival of VH-VQF is estimated at 1431, also by sheer coincidence 51 minutes behind schedule.

A320 VH-VFL on JQ735 (1025 hours MEL to LST that was not in the sky until 1124) looks to be arriving at about 2111, 41 minutes behind timetable.

Continuing with Monday 18 September, JQ708 (1225 hours lunchtime HBA up to MEL, A320 VH-JQL) was airborne at 1315, so arrival is likely at 1431 hours, 51 late.

VH-VFH on JQ511, the 1215 hours SYD - MEL that was in the sky at 1309 is arriving at roughly 1424, 34 minutes behind schedule. The following JQ513 (scheduled 1245 ex SYD, having taken off at 1339 with A321 VH-VWN) is arriving at 1455 this afternoon, 35 late.

Continuing with Monday 18 September 2017, JQ479 from NTL to MEL has been in the comon Mt Buller, Vic. holding pattern so arrival has become a suggested 2102 instead of 2010 hours - 52 late. A320 VH-VGQ is the plane.

JQ215, the 2255 hours late night arrival in MEL has been diverted via WLG to pick up extra fuel (see above) and hence is arriving at about 0020 on Tuesday 19.

Google confirms this, though JQ8 still seems to be operating

On Tuesday 19 September, JQ17 (1450 hours MEL - HKT) is again late with takeoff of B788 VH-VKA at 1616. Delayed arrival is predicted for 2211, 86 minutes tardy.

Wednesday 20 September sees JQ202, the 0655 hours AKL - SYD that was airborne at 0748 hours (A320 VH-VFK) arriving at a predicted 0952 hours, 52 late.

There are delays out of AKL due to the ongoing fuel crisis with aircraft switching off engines until ATC gives push back clearance:

Air travellers urged to sit tight and be patient to help save fuel

Separately, JQ945 (0615 hours early morning CNS - MEL that did not take off until 0803, A320 VH-VGH) is arriving at about 1117, 97 minutes late. JQ946, the 1020 hours MEL - CNS will be delayed until at least 1150 in its departure.

The early evening of 21 September 2017, a Thursday, sees JQ710 (1645 hours HBA - MEL that was not airborne until 1837) suggested to arrive at about 1949, 109 minutes behind schedule. A320 VH-VQU is the aircraft. This will delay the 1835 hours MEL - BNE (JQ566) until at least 2020 in its pushing back.

JQ665, normally the 1545 hours arrival in MEL ex touristy AYQ is not arriving until 2245 tonight, more than seven hours tardy.

A320 VH-VFN on JQ443 (1700 hours late afternoon OOL - MEL that pointed skywards at 1740) is arriving at approximately 2008, 43 late after encountering a holding pattern.

JQ479 (1830 NTL down to MEL that was in the sky at 1906 hours with A320 VH-JQX) should arrive at 2048, 38 minutes late.

JQ18, the 2220 hours from HKT to MEL (B788 VH-VKJ) on Thursday 21 September was in the sky at 2338. On Friday 22, arrival should be at about 1032, 42 late.

JQ36 was timetabled to arrive MEL (ex DPS) at 0640 hours on Sunday 24 September but is instead pulling in at 1242, 362 minutes late. B788 VH-VKI is the aircraft.

The 1020 hours morning BNE down to MEL, JQ563 (A321 Vh-VWN) took off at 1103; arrival should be at approximately 1323, 33 late.

JQ7, the 1110 hours MEL - SIN is showing as delayed until a 1300 hours departure. JQ30 had come in on time at around 0930 hours so I do not know the reason for this JQ7 delay.

In further on 24 September, JQ743, the 1905 hours early evening MEL - LST was airborne at 1944; arrival should be at around 2045, 35 minutes tardy. A320 VH-VFX has the task.

Due to the SYD airport radar failure at about 0520 hours on Monday 25 September, there are numerous delays and a growing list of cancellations on what in some states is the first day of the school holidays.

JQ810, the 0605 hours SYD - BNE (A320 VH-JQG) took off at 0744, so its arrival will not occur until at least 0905, 90 minutes late.

JQ501, also a scheduled 0605 hours departure but down to MEL (A320 VH-VQQ) was airborne at 0757. Arrival is predicted 80 minutes late at 0900.

The 0610 hours SYD - OOL (JQ400) was in the sky at 0741 hours with A320 VH-VGZ; arrival is suggested at 0858, 88 minutes tardy.

JQ759 (0610 hours BNE down to HBA, A320 VH-VFI) was airborne at 0716; arrival should be at 1005, 35 minutes late.
