Not sure if anyone actually cares about this, but 3K has updated its F&B offerings. Coca-Cola products has replaced Pepsi for general non-alcoholic beverages, and if you order a bottle of water, you'll now get a 600ml bottle rather than the previously offered 300ml midget.

Food choices are similar, although it's from a different supplier, and tastes a bit better (although that's a subjective thing). Most (if not all) of them come with an easy-to-remove aluminum foil cover rather than the previous clear plastic that's stuck on so hard that you had to literally cut it out with the knife.

Overall, it's an improvement, although I would imagine people choosing Jetstar for costs rather than comfort, so this might work against their business strategy.

Have they still got my favourite "ham" chicken sandwich?

They still have sandwiches available, but I'll need to check again on my next flight in 3 weeks time.

Cheers, a I have a couple on the 25/26, the sandwich being my main IFE for the short trip to KUL.

Didn't notice the sandwich on my flight yesterday, wasn't really looking though. If you get the plus bundle, you now get to choose from pretty much any non-alcoholic drink to go with it - ice tea, soft drinks, juice etc.

I flew SIN-KUL and back again 10 days ago with a plus bundle and I was given the aforementioned sandwich in both directions and a bottle of Evian water. No choices offered.

I hope that's the case, a soft drink would be preferred at times, although my tag flights after the trip from Australia often see water being the favourite, not sure why :D

Evian is the old choice. I flew SIN-HKG and back 2 weeks ago and it was still the old menu too, so it might've just changed last week.

Their Star Class menu Mel to Bkk

Since posting this picture other people are asking about what the meal tasted like. In a nutshell, its not too bad because the flight crew do a good job of presenting the meal in a manner that makes you feel like you are getting something special. As one person has highlighted: you get offered Baileys after the meal.

But all in all its still packaged airline food that probably would not cut it if it was offered at a take away food shop in a major city. So If you're flying Star Class for a genuine business class main meal you would be disappointed. Other aspects of the meal were fine and I did like that staff were offering extra bread rolls during the meal. But they lack decaff coffee and solo in their basic mix - something i have requested of the airline on prior occasions.

Does look decent but with the price differentials between Jetstar, Scoot and Air Asia for similar distances they need something different
