+1

I just can't imagine the average JQ customer paying for, never mind caring about what kind aircraft they're flying in.

+1 - I have flown JQ before, and I can ensure you my decision was based on price and price only. It was a flight PEN-SIN, where JQ wanted around US$40, and SilkAir wanted over US$200.

Same with some of my friends when they fly (who are not aviation geeks like myself). If they book JQ it is solely on price. When they book QF they ask me straight away "am I on the A380?"

I can't imagine Boeing being too happy that their premier aircraft sold to QF are going to be first operated by the Orange Cancer.

So with the new announcement that Jet* will fly the 787 routes Bali, Japan and Honolulu. Is it likely that we could see a 787 on the JQ 35 run out of Sydney? Could make for a very interesting and fun Flounge run!
