I'm not 100% on the workings but I am flying J with Lan Syd AKL and have Qantas Club so by my logic I can take in more than 1 person? All walk in together 2 J tickets for myself and my partner plus 1 qantas club card + guest??

Under oneworld rules you'll have access to the Qantas Business lounges (as international J passengers) but no guest allowed. Unfortunately your Qantas Club membership isn't relevant unless you're booked on the Qantas codeshares, so you won't be able to guest anyone else in.

I'll be flying out of SYD and AKL respectively at similar times to you (but on QF flights in J), but will be in the First lounge. Alas can't guest both of you in.

Oh Dang it - well I didn't want to pay the 1000's extra so its just the LAN flight numbers.
We have flights to HNL to feb but thats in Y so no spare spots (1 membership - 2 people)
Such a shame about the trip to NZ thought I could help someone out...

if LAN cancels will we be put on QF?
I'm almost hoping they cancel the night before and we can take the last flight out on Monday rather than the first flight tuesday with QF/JQ anyone (and still get my SCs as per booking) but I guess even though they will know in advance its unlikely to happen to my advantage (although an extra day holiday is never a bad thing in my book but LAN don't have a regular flight on Wed and 2 days is probably bad).

If I see you guys on my QF50 I'll know what happened!
