JAL Sydney to Tokyo with Qantas points.

We want to book flights with JAL in March next year through Qantas with points.
Jal is not appearing on the Qantas website even if you look at earlier dates.
When do they release JAL reward seats ? Or do I have to call for JAL ?
Or is their a trick to booking with them.

JAL release their Award seats 330 days out from date of flight, so March 2020 won't be up yet. There may be a delay in them appearing on the Qantas site, but they do appear there (until gone).

They definitely appear and are definitely bookable through QF with points

I have booked SYD-NRT-JFK return with them for 4 pax for Dec/Jan 2019/2020 as part of a oneworld Classic Flight Reward in Y
