Ive read a few threads about the provided headphones have a magnetic thingy instead of plug in and wondering if thats changed, specifically will my bose headphones (with standard airline 2 prong) work on EY flights.

Many thanks,

I have to admit that although i had my BOSE with me, once i used the magnetic plug with the provided headphones i didnt even try to use my own. They worked really well. Sorry that doesn't help much though.

The magnetic plug is only in the business studio of the 787 and A380. Older aircraft still use the 3 prongs.

Many thanks. We have the 380 SYD-AUH and then 332 AUH-EDI so I think I'll take them with us, even if hubby cant use his on the 380 but can for the 2nd flight (I dont use IFE, just my very old ipod and zone out).

cheers,
