J Class FULL for SYD to PER Wednesday 3/2/11 Both QF581 (ETD 1010) & QF577 (ETD 1210)

At the beginning of December, I booked a OW Cirlce Asia ticket.

I knew which day I wanted to returned to Perth from Sydney and asked telephone sales to book me on the A330 departing 3/2/11 either 1010 or 1210 departure.

We were both surprised when it was discovered neither flight in J was available, especially so far out at the time of the booking.

Again, checking today and both flights are FULL in J class.

Anybody knows whom or what party/group would be occupying 2 planes, minimum 36paxs by 2 making 72 passengers in J class.

Thanks

You need D class. So Business class may still not be sold out.

Yes the two internationally configured aircraft flights you are after are indeed showing zeroes for D (an all others for that matter). Any of the others will be available.

Hmm you are looking at Day flights ... is the Millennium seat on the 763 so bad. I know a skybed is nicer, but you're not red eying, so sleep would generally not be a premium.

One more thing - not a single seat on those two internationally configured flights has been preselected - that is curious.

Thanks serfty for your comments.

I note your comment "that is curious" so something is going go.

So Business class may still not be sold out
If you try to book a full J fare on the QF web site, it shows n/a for these 2 flights.

No I prefer these time of departures. Take your time in the morning after peak hour in Sydney and then arrive either lunch time/early afternoon in Perth and still have time time to mow the lawn, walk the dog and take the wife for an early dinner.

That'd be the Aussie and English cricket teams, most likely.

ODI in SYD 2/2/2011 then PER 6/2/2011
