Italy accomodation?

Suggestions please from learned travellers for quality accomodation in Como, Venice, Cinque Terre and Alba mid July - approx 3 nights each location?

Budget approx $300 / night - bit flexible though.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in was Locanda Orseolo in Venice. Close to st marks, amazing hosts, beautiful rooms.

Suggest you google it.

Venice - I recently stayed at Palazzo Giovanelli

One of my favourite hotels, and had a 45sq metre room for about $270 per night with free breakfast!

Easy access from the ferry's, location is OK, but it's so nice to walk around Venice, perhaps not so much in Summer heat though! We were there in Winter and it was beautiful

IF it matters at all they had LOTS of English TV to watch, which was a nice change after 5 weeks of French, German and Italian dubbed shows! :shock:
