Is this the world's oldest flight attendant?

I have come across some rather senior FAs on QF lately. Why do people who are (no offence) somewhat outdated keep working? Is it because they are very good at their job, the unions won't let the airline get rid of them or do they not bother retiring, or do they particularly enjoy their job and not want to leave it? (If it's the latter I didn't see any evidence of this on my last few flights. That being said, I'm sure there are some fantastic "mature" FAs out there)
