Saw this yesterday at the MH F lounge in KUL.
Think its acceptable?

Short answer probably not, but these type of posts stir up the hornets nest more often than not.

Absolutely. In fact, anyone who thinks otherwise is, at best, a prude with no life or, at worst, a hater. I choose love.

Given you put your bum on a seat - who cares if someone else has put their feet on it.

I baulk at feet on tables, but not seats. Personal view only.

Good manners are so last century.
And who cares what those shoes might have stepped in on the way to the airport?

In certain cultures this can be incredibly offensive and disrespectful, in others probably doesn't even cross their mind as being a problem.

No. Because I don't put my shoes on my own furniture, let alone someone else's.

And my husband would get an earful if I came home and found him doing this as well so I'm Team not acceptable.

Most humans don't drag their bum along the ground, and in most cases bums are covered by clothing.

Feet or shoes pick up whatever is on the ground.....

Having said that, I think it is just a bad look - but there are people that think it is ok (generally younger), and people that think it is not (generally older).

I'm 38. Am I young or old?

No idea. I am sure if you plotted the 'yes' and 'no' contingents with age, you would get two overlapping bell curves. The group that says it is ok will have an average lower than the no group.

So says my unscientific thoughts on it.

I am both young and old, and neither.

But what I see from the OP's photo and comments, is something entirely different. That photo and comment makes me want to rejoice.

Because it shows me that in some small parts of the world, humans have conquered hunger, beaten the terrifying plague, and live without the fear of being physically murdered by someone more violent than themselves. So they can now worry about shoes on seats.

That is, seriously, a mindblowing concept to much of the world's populace.....

Oh juddles, you're being a tat harsh. LOL, this is, after all, a first world problem. We've sorted the refugees, got terrorists under control, Donald's looking after the United States, we have Schapelle back we now need something else to go on with:oops:

I don't think it's any different from those people who dump their bags on chairs and seats in the lounge

Neither practice is acceptable IMHO
