My intention was to go to Hong Kong!!

I was having a look around the site and found the thread RTW flight for $1389.
http://www.bestflights.com.au/cgi-bin/203/flights?maindetails=2079

At this stage have the following itinery on hold
SYD-LAX,LAX-JFK,JFK-LHR,LHR-FCO,FCO-LHR,LHR-HKG,HKG-SYD.
The total cost is $1389+$600 taxes.
Do you think this is a good deal?

How many points & SC will I earn?
(I can work out for Qantas but what about BA?)
The following with Qantas
SYD-LAX,LAX-JFK,HKG-SYD
The rest with British Airways
I didn't realise that a O fare(I think this is what grade it is) is not able to be upgraded to business and you can't upgrade on BA Flights?

Its a very good price and I doubt you will find a cheaper RTW fare.

QF SCs earned on BA are the same as for QF flights.

QF FF points on BA flights between LHR and HKG earn 1 QF FF point per mile flown, all other BA flights will earn 0.25 QF FF points per mile flown.

No way to upgrade BA flights with QF FF points.
